I really enjoyed the food from here. They have a good spice level. I got the Tom Kha and fried rice. The service was quick, and the staff I met was kind. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the ambiance was nice. With the food I got, I was able to make 2/3 full meals out of each one. The price matches the sizes of the dishes!

Take out/delivery order review. The nam Khao (crispy curry rice salad with pork sausage) is out of this world!! ! I've never had this dish before and boy have I been missing out. Ordered medium-hot. Wasn't too bad on the spice, I could have probably ordered up one level. The dish is so tangy and flavorful with delicious textures. Don't sleep on this one!!

Love this place! Admittedly I've only ever gotten the pad thai but it's consistently very tasty. Spiciness is definitely not toned down so don't order a higher spice level if you aren't sure you can handle it. The portions are also pretty large and I was able to split one order into 2 meals.

On's has my one of favorite pad see ew dishes. It's SO good! You get a large portion and it's always piping hot, which I love. Nothing is worse than luke warm food. I also had the fried chicken egg rolls, which are also amazing. They were crispy and the mixture of chicken and noodles are so tasty. Our server was so friendly and happy. It wasn't very busy the night we were in, so the food came super fast. I will for sure go back.

I was recommended to try On's by a friend who loves Thai food. I don't venture towards St. Paul often - but I finally ordered takeout today. First off - I love spicy dishes - so I was excited by the spice range. I typically hear of "1-5" with 5 being "Thai hot" at most places. On's has two additional levels - Thai Hot Hot and Hot Hot Hot. I'll admit it... I chickened out and only did the "Thai Hot Hot" because I had never been before. The flavor of the dish was great and the heat was there, but I definitely think I could've handled the highest. Anytime I go Thai I target something with a combo of peppers, onion, and jalapeños. I don't think I've ever had this specific dish before - but I didn't find any mushrooms or jalapeños in what I received. The jalapeños missing may explain why I wasn't feeling the heat. Overall this place is great! I think I need to give it another try and maybe eat at the restaurant.

I saw On's recommended by many in a foodie FB page and they were so right! My cousin and her hubby were visiting us from San Francisco. They love Thai food, so I suggested On's Kitchen for lunch after visiting St. Paul. The nearby pharmacy was boarded up, there was grafitti and trash in some areas and parking was a little hard to access, so I was a little concerned about my choice, but we know some of the best food can be found in unexpected places. We ordered two appetizers (shrimp & pork spring rolls and fried crab cakes) and three main dishes (Shrimp Pad Thai, Stir Fried Ginger Chicken, and Pad Prik Green Pea) which we all shared. The appetizers were good (though I still have to say my favorite spring roll is from Rolls & Bowls), and the three main dishes were absolutely delicious! My cousin and I thought the Pad Prik was the best dish and our husbands picked the ginger chicken as their favorite. For me, it was not the best appetizers I've had, but definitely among the very best main Thai dishes I've had. Even though San Francisco has many great Thai restaurants where they regularly eat, my cousin's husband announced at the end of the meal, "That was the best Thai food I've ever had." Well done, On's!

We visited On's before a concert at the Turf Club and ate in, which we rarely do. On walking in, they immediately have a sign saying they're understaffed and appreciate our patience, which I can respect. That being said, there definitely was a wait for service; that's definitely not a deal breaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you're looking to get in & out quickly (you might want to order ahead for takeout instead). I ordered the Cream Cheese Wontons this time, which were good but not the best I've ever had. The cream cheese inside tasted a bit overcooked, it was sort of curdled? for lack of a better word. The sauce, though, was delicious. I also tried my friends' spring roll, which was fresh and super tasty. The sauce for that was stellar as well, I would definitely order it myself next time. I also got a lychee martini! On's prices are reasonable, but I'm definitely curious about their $18 cocktails (why are they so much?). The lychee was sweet and tasty with enough oomph for me to feel the alcohol a bit, but without tasting too strong. It definitely isn't anywhere near as strong as a lot of martinis I've had, which can be a plus depending on what you're looking for lol. All in all, I still prefer takeaway over eating in, just because I'd rather be comfy at home. However, the servers are always helpful and the food is always good. Either way, you can't go wrong with On's!
